This afternoon I went to the Baylor baseball game.
We played Nebraska, and I watched one of their players miss a fly ball. It landed on his shoe, and I felt sorry for him.
I’ve decided I cannot be competitive because I want to protect both teams, but I also realize that a tie in every game defeats the point of the game. Oh, life’s dilemmas.
Thus, I watch the game, but not really watch the game. I read the billboards, marvel at river, and watch little BU toddlers run around and WIN a free hamburger (we picked the best row to sit in!).
All in all, it was a wonderful day.
I even have a sun burn to remember it tomorrow.

PERHAPS FORREST GUMP WOULD SAY THAT “LIFE’S LIKE A BOX OF BALL GAMES…YOU NEVER KNOW WHO WON TILL THE GAME IS OOOOVER” I LIKE FORREST GUMP…I UNDERSTAND HIM. MAKES ME FEEL BETTER.
CAN LIFE BE A TIE BALL GAME? A TIE LIFE CYCLE? IF WINNING IS OUT THE QUESTION.., THAN YOU JUST CAN’T LOSE. NO PAIN NO GAIN. SOUNDS SAFE TO ME.
LIFE IS FULL OF WINNERS AND LOSERS. GOOD CHOICES AND BAD CHOICES. HAPPY OR SAD. RICH OR POOR. FAT OR THIN. AND THIS COULD GO ON FOREVER. ITS YOUR CHOICE OR IS IT. CAN ONE WATCH THE GAME OF LIFE OR NOT REALLY “WATCH” THE GAME. YES LIFE IS COMPETITIVE WITH WINNERS AND LOSERS
ON BOTH SIDES.
FORREST GUMP WOULD SAY KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BALL…YOU NEVER KNOW WHO CATCHES THE HOME RUUUUN.
A NEW BALLGAME EACH DAY!!!!
